This document explains the rules and responsibilities that apply when you use GlossRed. Headings and summaries help with navigation, but the complete text controls.
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and CYDEAVOR LLC. CYDEAVOR LLC operates the GlossRed™ service; in these Terms, “GlossRed,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean CYDEAVOR LLC in its capacity as operator of that service. These Terms apply to glossred.com and any GlossRed page, account, workspace, booking flow, application, or service that links to them (collectively, the “Service”).
By creating an account, starting a trial, purchasing a subscription, making or managing a booking, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use GlossRed for a company, barbershop, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. In that case, “you” includes both you and the organization.
2. The GlossRed service
GlossRed provides software for account management, Professional and Shop profiles, service catalogs, availability, booking, appointment management, client relationship records, reviews, waitlists, business-record tracking, exports, support, and related tools. Features may differ by role, plan, workspace, location, device, or configuration.
GlossRed is a technology platform. We do not provide barbering, cosmetology, grooming, or other personal services; employ the Professionals shown in the Service; set their service prices; or control the manner in which they perform services. A Professional or Shop may be an independent business and is solely responsible for the services it offers.
We may improve, add, modify, restrict, or discontinue features. If a change materially reduces a paid feature during a current subscription term, we will provide notice when reasonably practicable and any remedy required by law.
If GlossRed discontinues the paid Service or materially removes core paid functionality during a prepaid term for a reason unrelated to your breach, we will provide substantially equivalent service or a prorated refund for the affected unused portion of that prepaid term, unless applicable law requires a different remedy.
Separate Cydeavor services
Consulting, marketing, custom development, strategy calls, or another service offered separately by CYDEAVOR LLC under the Cydeavor brand outside the GlossRed platform is governed by the proposal, order form, terms, and privacy notice presented for that service unless that agreement expressly incorporates these Terms.
3. Accounts and eligibility
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to create a GlossRed account or submit a guest booking. Minors may not create Personal, Professional, or Owner/Shop accounts or book as guests, and the current Service does not provide a designated proxy or minor-booking workflow.
Accurate information
You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. You may not impersonate another person, create an account for someone without authority, misstate professional qualifications, or use contact or payment information you are not authorized to use.
Account security
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials, devices, recovery methods, and active sessions. Notify us promptly at hello@glossred.com if you believe an account has been accessed without authorization. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
One person, one identity
A GlossRed user may hold Personal, Professional, and authorized Shop roles through one account. You may not create duplicate accounts to evade trial, billing, security, safety, or enforcement controls.
4. Professional and Shop responsibilities
Professionals, Owners, managers, and Shops are responsible for:
- Maintaining every license, permit, registration, insurance policy, and qualification required for their services.
- Providing safe, lawful, accurate, and professionally appropriate services.
- Keeping service descriptions, prices, durations, availability, staff assignments, workspace details, and booking policies accurate.
- Honoring displayed pricing and clearly communicating cancellation, lateness, deposit, refund, and no-show policies to clients.
- Managing taxes, income reporting, employment or contractor classification, payroll, and other business obligations.
- Using client information only for lawful business purposes and providing any privacy notice or consent required for their own processing.
- Managing workspace access and promptly removing members who no longer need it.
A Shop is responsible for actions taken by users it authorizes and for making sure those users have the appropriate role. GlossRed may provide permission controls, but the Shop decides whom to invite and what authority to grant.
Do not enter Social Security numbers, full payment-card data, government ID numbers, medical records, or other highly sensitive information into free-text fields. GlossRed is not designed to serve as an electronic health-record system or to support regulated healthcare use under HIPAA.
5. Bookings and client relationships
Booking availability is based on information supplied by the Professional or Shop and on GlossRed scheduling rules. A booking is not guaranteed until the Service displays confirmation. Technical delays, conflicting updates, emergency closures, or Professional actions may require a booking to be changed or canceled.
The agreement for barbering or other personal services is between the client and the applicable Professional or Shop. Questions about service quality, suitability, price, arrival instructions, cancellations, no-shows, refunds, or in-person conduct should first be directed to that business. GlossRed is not responsible for the quality, legality, safety, or outcome of services provided by independent users.
Clients must provide accurate booking information, arrive as agreed, and follow the Professional or Shop policies disclosed before or in connection with the appointment. A user may cancel or reschedule only appointments the user is authorized to manage.
Calendar files and subscription feeds
If you download an appointment calendar file or create a private calendar subscription feed, you direct GlossRed to include the appointment information shown before creation and to make it available to the calendar application you choose. A calendar-feed URL is a bearer credential: anyone who has it may be able to read the feed until it expires or is revoked. You are responsible for protecting the URL, sharing it only with an authorized calendar provider, and revoking it promptly if it is exposed.
6. Trials, subscriptions, and billing
Plans and prices
Personal client access is available without a paid plan. Professional and Owner/Shop capabilities require an active trial, paid subscription, or other valid coverage. Current prices, included capabilities, billing interval, taxes, and any enrollment limit are shown before checkout. Paid plans renew monthly or annually according to the billing option selected at checkout.
New Individual plans cost $9 per month or $99 per year. New Shop plans cost $49 per month or $499 per year. Prices are in US dollars, plus applicable taxes. Monthly billing is a month-to-month subscription, not an installment payment toward an annual contract. Annual plans are billed in full once a year. Individual is also called Professional in the application; Shop is also called Owner/Shop.
This pricing update does not automatically change the price of an existing subscription. Your current renewal amount is shown in billing management. Future changes remain subject to the notice requirements below.
Trials
Eligible users may receive one shared trial across paid GlossRed plans. Trial length and eligibility are shown at checkout. The current 14-day trial requires a confirmed email address and valid payment method and automatically converts to the selected paid subscription at the price shown at checkout unless you cancel before the trial ends. We may use account, payment-provider, and protected device signals to prevent duplicate or abusive trials. Switching plans does not restart or extend a trial. A trial request may require review or be declined. If no trial is approved, you may choose paid checkout at the price displayed; requesting a trial alone does not authorize a paid purchase.
Automatic renewal
By starting a trial or subscription, you authorize our payment processor to charge the payment method on file on the trial-conversion date shown at checkout and at each renewal until cancellation. Checkout displays the amount and billing frequency. You may cancel as described under “Cancellation” below. You are responsible for keeping billing information current.
Plan changes
Plan-change timing and price are displayed before confirmation. An upgrade may take effect immediately and may include a prorated charge. A downgrade may be scheduled for the end of the current trial or billing period so capabilities are not unexpectedly removed mid-term.
Cancellation
You may cancel through GlossRed billing management or the Stripe-hosted billing portal. Unless otherwise shown, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current trial or paid period and prevents the next renewal. Deleting the app, abandoning an account, or removing a payment method does not by itself cancel a subscription.
Refunds, taxes, and failed payments
Except where required by law or expressly stated in writing, fees already paid are nonrefundable and we do not provide partial-period credits. Prices may not include applicable taxes. If payment fails, we may retry the charge, request a new payment method, limit paid capabilities, or suspend paid access after any notice required by law.
First 250 lifetime promotional access
For the First 250 lifetime promotion, “lifetime” means the period during which GlossRed continues operating its booking and business-management service. Eligible customers who successfully redeem the offer receive a 100% discount on recurring fees for their covered Individual or Shop plan, with either monthly or annual billing. Standard plan limits and these Terms continue to apply.
Ordinary price increases, routine updates, or rebranding do not remove this discount. Separately priced optional add-ons and custom services are excluded. If GlossRed permanently stops providing the covered service, access ends. This offer does not guarantee that GlossRed will operate indefinitely.
The promotion has a combined limit of 250 successful redemptions across Individual and Shop plans and both billing intervals, not 250 for each plan or interval. A valid promotion code is required. Individual codes may have a smaller redemption limit or additional eligibility conditions disclosed with that code. Availability and the applied discount must be confirmed at checkout; seeing this notice does not reserve a redemption.
The discount covers the subscription on which the offer is redeemed; it does not automatically cover separate subscriptions or other accounts. Before canceling, restarting, or switching plans, contact hello@glossred.com to confirm in writing how your offer will apply. This definition does not promise automatic transfer or reinstatement of a discount on another subscription. Any offer-specific conditions must be disclosed before redemption and do not retroactively narrow an existing written promise.
These conditions describe the First 250 promotion. Other documented lifetime or founding offers remain governed by their transaction-specific terms, as described below.
Legacy purchases and prior written promises
These Terms apply prospectively. If you purchased a documented lifetime or founding membership, credit balance, permanent-price commitment, refund right, or other entitlement under the Terms, checkout page, order form, receipt, or written sales agreement in effect when you purchased, the transaction-specific terms continue to govern that entitlement to the extent they provide vested rights. These Terms do not retroactively cancel such a right and do not make a legacy product available to new purchasers. An eligible transaction completed while a prior 14-day refund promise governed remains subject to that promise for its original stated period.
Price changes
We may change future subscription prices. A price change will apply no earlier than the next renewal after reasonable advance notice and any consent required by law. Continuing the subscription after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted.
7. Content, reviews, and feedback
Directory listings
Directory publication is optional and requires an eligible paid plan or Shop coverage. You choose whether to publish your listing and which supported public details to include. You may link to a supported external booking provider without moving your appointments to GlossRed. You are responsible for keeping your listing accurate and for the destinations you link to. Publication does not guarantee views, bookings, placement, or endorsement. Listings may be hidden when eligibility ends or content violates these Terms.
Your content
As between you and GlossRed, you retain any rights you hold in profile text, service descriptions, photos, reviews, messages, and other material you submit (“User Content”). You grant GlossRed a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, transmit, create technical copies of, and display User Content when you direct publication, and to permit our service providers to do the same on our behalf, only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, and support the Service and meet legal obligations. This license is subject to the Privacy Policy and any applicable data-processing agreement. We do not use private booking or client content for unrelated advertising or public display. We may use aggregated or deidentified information that does not reasonably identify a person to improve the Service.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for your User Content and that it is accurate, lawful, and not misleading. You may not submit content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; contains unlawful threats or harassment; promotes discrimination or violence; or is deceptive, fraudulent, or unrelated to a genuine use of the Service.
Reviews must reflect a genuine appointment experience. GlossRed may label, limit, reject, or remove content that violates these Terms, creates safety or legal risk, or undermines the integrity of the Service. We do not promise to monitor every item of User Content.
If you send ideas or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use them without restriction or compensation, but we are not required to use them.
GlossRed intellectual property and license
The Service, including its software, interfaces, design, documentation, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and other materials other than User Content, is owned by GlossRed or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable, nonsublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose during your authorized access. No other right is granted by implication. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their applicable licenses.
8. Acceptable use
You may not, and may not help another person to:
- Use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, deceptively, or in a way that harms another person.
- Access another user’s account, appointment, Shop, client record, or nonpublic data without authorization.
- Probe, scan, bypass, disable, or interfere with authentication, permissions, rate limits, security controls, or service availability.
- Upload malware, automate abusive traffic, scrape protected data, or use bots except through an interface we expressly authorize.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, copy, resell, sublicense, or create a competing service from protected portions of GlossRed except where law prohibits the restriction.
- Use contact information for spam, purchased lists, unrelated marketing, harassment, or unlawful surveillance.
- Manipulate bookings, reviews, trials, subscriptions, payments, metrics, or waitlists.
- Use the Service to offer prohibited, unsafe, discriminatory, or unlicensed services.
We may investigate suspected misuse and cooperate with lawful requests from courts, regulators, law enforcement, payment networks, and affected service providers.
9. Third-party services
The Service and public website rely on providers including Supabase for infrastructure and authentication, Stripe for subscription billing, Render for hosting, Cloudflare for security, Google for optional sign-in, and email, calendar, and notification providers.
Third-party links, integrations, and provider outages may affect the Service. We are not responsible for a third party’s independent products, content, availability, or conduct, but we remain responsible for our own obligations under applicable law. Your use of a chosen third-party service may also be subject to that provider’s separate terms.
The Privacy Policy explains how these providers process personal information and how you can exercise your privacy rights.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using GlossRed at any time. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions. Before requesting deletion, cancel any subscription you do not want renewed and export information you need to retain.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created security or legal risk, failed to pay, misused a trial, endangered another user, or if suspension is necessary to protect the Service. When reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. We may act immediately for urgent security, fraud, safety, or legal reasons.
Following termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will survive, including payment obligations, intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, dispute terms, and lawful record-retention rights.
11. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” GLOSSRED DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL ALWAYS BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR SUITABLE FOR EVERY BUSINESS.
GLOSSRED DOES NOT GUARANTEE BOOKINGS, CLIENT RETENTION, REVENUE, REDUCED NO-SHOWS, BUSINESS GROWTH, PROFESSIONAL RESULTS, OR THE CONDUCT OF ANY USER. BUSINESS RECORDS AND REPORTS PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE ARE INFORMATIONAL AND ARE NOT ACCOUNTING, TAX, EMPLOYMENT, LEGAL, MEDICAL, OR FINANCIAL ADVICE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. In those places, the exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law, and you may have additional rights.
12. Limits of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOSSRED AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES ARE POSSIBLE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID GLOSSRED DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) 100 U.S. DOLLARS.
These limits do not apply where prohibited, including liability that cannot legally be limited for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or violation of nonwaivable consumer rights.
13. Indemnification
If you use GlossRed as a Professional, Owner, Shop, manager, employee, contractor, or other business user, you agree, to the extent permitted by law, to indemnify and hold harmless GlossRed and its LLC members, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising from your services, business operations, User Content, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of another person’s rights.
We will provide reasonable notice of a covered claim and may control its defense and settlement. You may not settle a claim in a way that admits fault by or imposes obligations on GlossRed without our written consent.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except to the extent federal law or a nonwaivable law of your residence applies.
Before filing a claim, you and GlossRed agree to make a good-faith effort for at least 30 days to resolve the dispute informally. Send a written description of the issue and requested resolution to hello@glossred.com. This requirement does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or using an applicable small-claims process, and it does not restrict a privacy complaint to a regulator or data-protection authority or delay a nonwaivable statutory right or filing deadline.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, claims that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state courts located in Greenwood County, South Carolina, or the applicable federal court in South Carolina, and each party consents to those courts’ jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
15. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will provide notice through the Service, by email, or by another reasonable method before it takes effect. The updated effective date will appear above. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.
Except for transaction-specific vested rights expressly preserved in Section 6, these Terms and any terms presented at checkout are the entire agreement about the Service and replace prior discussions on that subject. If checkout terms conflict with these Terms about a specific transaction, the checkout terms control for that transaction. If any provision is unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent needed and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or operation of law. No third party is an intended beneficiary unless these Terms expressly say otherwise.
Electronic communications and notices
You consent to receive account, authentication, booking, billing, security, policy, legal, support, and other Service notices electronically at your account email or through the Service. Keep your contact information current and retain copies you need. Marketing messages are optional and governed by separate consent and opt-out choices; agreeing to electronic Service notices is not consent to marketing. Where E-SIGN or another law requires a specific consent process for electronic delivery, we will provide the required disclosures and obtain that consent separately. Where law gives you a right to withdraw consent to electronic records, contact us for available alternatives and any effect on an account that requires electronic delivery.
